Hiring: Manager – IT | Zambia
We are hiring an experienced Manager – IT for a leading manufacturing organization based in Ndola, Zambia.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
• Ensure smooth functioning of the ERP system (SAP preferred) and resolve ERP-related issues.
• Prepare and manage the annual IT budget.
• Implement and maintain IT security policies, firewalls, access controls, data backup, and disaster recovery plans.
• Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and software implementations.
• Maintain IT documentation, records, and data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with IT SOPs and security standards across the organization.
• Lead and support the IT team while coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
• B.E./B.Tech/B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of managerial experience in IT.
• ERP experience is mandatory; SAP experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, servers, hardware, software, cybersecurity, and data backup.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
Preferred Industry
• First Preference: Flexible Packaging Industry.
• Candidates from other manufacturing industries with strong ERP and IT infrastructure experience will also be considered.
